In its early history since 1818, Brooks Brothers was most widely known for introducing the ready-to-wear suit to American customers. Brooks Brothers has outfitted 39 of the 44 American Presidents. As a producer of mid to high end attire they have also entered the graphic tee genre for the young men's market trends.

DKNY MENS

Since 1989, the iconic graphic tees portraying the stunning skylines of New York City were the main focus of DKNY's graphic tees, since then DKNY has diversified their content towards their graphic tee business. Moving away from standard logo play the focus has shifted towards graphic driven elements along with up to date trends in print techniques.

Each seasonal developments I meet with their Senior Designers to discuss trends and inspirations, once the art works are produced, revisions are made until approved by the buyers, print techniques are suggested to match the budget per style, I then proceed with actual size art works with tech packs and send them off to our factories to begin strike offs. Follow ups are done daily with the production team overseas to assure progress is smooth in a timely fashion until bulk order is achieved.

EXPRESS

Express is an American fashion retailer that caters mainly to young women and men, they produce anywhere from trendy casual to a night out wear as well as formal business attire in modern fits.

I have done few seasonal support rolls for the men's division under their director's requests, producing actual size art works, tech packs, color ways and revisions for production ready files towards the factory. Flights occasionally to the factories to supervise the execution of color and print techniques were done on behalf of Express as well.

All graphics are done in house for Express, in a rare occasion I was given the opportunity to produce my take on graphics based on the provided inspirations by the men's director.

G.H. BASS & CO.

George Henry Bass began to work in 1876 in the shoe making business as junior partner in E.P. Packard & Co. in Wilton. By 1879, he became the sole owner, and changed the company name to G.H. Bass & Co.

Since 2013, G.H. Bass & Co. has been starting to enter the graphic tee business.

IZOD

Izod is a clothing company that produces dressy-casual clothing and sportswear for men and women, also including footwear, and accessories. Perhaps best known for its short-sleeved Piqué polo shirt formerly featuring the Lacoste crocodile on the left breast of the shirt, now replaced with a color-matching/coordinating crest and left sleeve embroidery. One variation is the "IZ" patch instead of crest. This shirt, along with Ralph Lauren Polo, was a fashion core-piece in the 1970s and '80s with preppy and Mod sets. Other Izod classics include the Harrington jacket G-9 model, also v-neck & cardigan sweaters.

Since a few years back IZOD has been starting the graphic tee business to approach the young men's casual wear. After achieving positive results from major retailers like Macy's they have expanded their graphic tee lines to their outlets stores as wells as their "big and tall" markets.

Inspiration is provided by their Senior Designer, graphics are then provided in separated layers for their designers to place colors in accordingly to the selected ground colors. Print techniques are then reviewed to assure there are no flaws to portray the graphics and desired appearance. Communication done on a daily basis with the production team overseas, any issues are solved through meetings with the IZOD design team.

Art Class

Launched in January 2017, Art Class is a trend-focused apparel and accessories line designed for kids ages 4-12. Art Class also features limited-edition, capsule collections on an ongoing basis.
